Ordering and delivery terms

General Online Store

The products of the webshop are sold by the webshop of Scandic Plastic-Free Oy (Business ID 2948449-1, VAT ID FI29484491).

  • We sell products only to companies and communities, not to individuals. Individuals can buy products from the consumer side of the online store www.plasticfreepicks.fi .
  • Product prices are exclusive of VAT, but 24% VAT will be added to your order when you purchase your order.
  • We reserve the right to change prices and postage.

How to order

Stock products can be ordered online at www.plasticfreetrading.fi. We will notify you for each item if the item is not found in stock labeled 'Available, please contact info@plasticfreetrading.fi'. Products that are not in stock can be ordered by sending an email to info@plasticfreetrading.fi. Your order will be processed via email.

Orders are confirmed by email, so you will need to provide an email address when ordering to receive order confirmation. All orders placed bind the customer to the current delivery terms.

If you would like to add / remove items or change the shipping method after placing an order, contact info@plasticfreetrading.fi.

Delivery time

Orders are processed every business day. Stock items will usually be shipped within 1-2 full business days of placing your order and delivery times will vary according to shipping method (details below). Delivery time for out of stock products is 1-3 weeks.

We always strive to deliver as soon as possible. If it takes longer than normal to post an order for one reason or another, we will notify the customer by email or phone.

Scandic Plastic-Free Oy is not responsible for the delivery times of the shipping companies, or if the order is prevented, hampered or delayed due to circumstances beyond Scandic Plastic-Free Oy's control, such as war, natural disaster, export or import ban, public transport disruption or other similar activities that obstruct or impede the operations of Scandic Plastic-Free Oy.

Shipping methods and costs

Shipping costs include postage and packaging. Shipping costs are based on the weight and size of the products and will be funded upon payment of the order. Aggregate Shipping Charges Shown in Online Store When ordering via Cart Checkout and e-mail, the actual shipping costs will be reflected on the invoice.

We offer our customers the following shipping methods in Finland (all prices are exclusive of VAT):

Postage 0-10kg 6.30 € / 10-35kg 10 €

  • Pick up from your nearest Post Office, Smartpost or pick-up point.
  • Delivery time is usually within 1 business day. The package is available for pick-up after 7pm on the day of arrival. You can track the progress of your package through the MyPosti mobile app.
  • You will receive a message when the package is available for pick up. In the case of Smarpost, the SMS contains a code to open the tray.
  • Pick up from the office or pick-up point is by presenting your arrival advice / shipping ID and proof of identity.
  • At the point of service and vending machines, the retention period of the package is 7 days. The shipment will be returned to the sender if it is not collected at the end of the storage period. Scandic Plastic-Free Oy is entitled to charge the customer for the costs of the non-downloadable package.
  • Climate friendly delivery by Posti Green.

Matkahuolto Nearby package 0-10kg 6.50 € / 10-30kg 10 €

  • Nearby package: Delivery to Matkahuolto station, Matkahuolto agent's office or K-Market, R-Kioski or other store package point.
  • Delivery time is usually 1-3 business days.
  • The package can be tracked with the shipment ID online: Matkahuolto Shipment Tracking
  • The recipient will receive an arrival notification via SMS when the package can be retrieved.
  • The parcel will be picked up from the office indicated on the arrival notification. The package will be handed over against the identity card. You can prove your identity with a driver's license, passport or ID card issued by the police. If the parcel picker is other than the addressee on the contact card, the parcel picker must have a proxy in addition to his / her ID.
  • The parcel is stored free of charge for 14 days, after which the non-retrieved parcel is returned to Matkahuolto of the place of departure at the expense of the sender. Scandic Plastic-Free Oy is entitled to charge the customer for the costs of the non-downloadable package.

Delivery to business address - Posti Express package 0-30kg 20 € / over 30kg 30 €

  • Shipment will usually be delivered Mon-Fri within 1 business day from 8am to 4pm to the address you want.
  • Mail will deliver your order to the address of your choice without notice. If you are not present, you can pick up your order from the place indicated on the arrival notice.
  • At the point of service and vending machines, the retention period of the package is 7 days. The shipment will be returned to the sender if it is not collected at the end of the storage period. Scandic Plastic-Free Oy is entitled to charge the customer for the costs of the non-downloadable package.
  • Climate friendly delivery by Posti Green Mail.

Delivery to business address - Matkahuolto Distribution Package 0-30kg 20 € / over 30kg 30 €

  • The parcel is usually shipped within 1 business day and distributed to the recipient on the next business day after arrival.
  • Shipped to business address on weekdays (8am - 4pm)
  • The parcel will be retained for a total of 14 days, after which the non-retrieved parcel will be returned to the sender, unless otherwise agreed, at the expense of the sender. Scandic Plastic-Free Oy is entitled to charge the customer for the costs of the non-downloadable package.

    Matkahuolto Bus package - over 30kg 15 €

    • Delivery to Matkahuolto station, Matkahuolto agent's office or K-Market, R-Kioski or other store package point.
    • The parcel will normally be shipped within 1 business day. The transportation time may be longer when the bus route requires a change of bus.
    • The package can be tracked with the shipment ID online: Matkahuolto Shipment Tracking
    • The recipient will receive an acknowledgment of receipt by SMS or email when the package is available for pick up.
    • The parcel will be picked up from the office indicated on the arrival notification. The package will be handed over against the identity card. You can prove your identity with a driver's license, passport or ID card issued by the police. If the parcel picker is other than the addressee on the contact card, the parcel picker must have a proxy in addition to his / her ID.
    • The parcel will be stored free of charge on the date of dispatch of the arrival notice and the following four business days. Thereafter, a storage fee will be charged for storage . The parcel will be retained for a total of 14 days, after which the unclaimed parcel will be returned to the sender, unless otherwise agreed, and at the expense of the sender. Scandic Plastic-Free Oy is entitled to charge the customer for the costs of the non-downloadable package.

    Pickup

    Warehouse products can be picked up from Scandic Plastic-Free Oy in Espoo. You must place your order at least 24 hours before the day of collection. The exact address will be provided when ordering the pickup.

    Complaints and damages

    If the delivery is defective or you receive a defective product, you must notify us within 7 days by email to info@plasticfreetrading.fi . Once we receive the error message, we will resolve the issue with you.

    The products remain the property of Scandic Plastic-Free Oy until they are paid for in full.

    Changing the Terms of Delivery

    We reserve the right to change our terms of delivery. Prior to placing an order, the customer must read the applicable terms of delivery.

    Applicable Law and Settlement of Disputes

    The contractual relationship between Scandic Plastic-Free Oy and the customer is governed by Finnish law.
